Tightrope is the traditional circus art: walking a steel cable pulled very tight, often with a balancing pole or a fan. The wire barely moves, so the challenge is precision.
Slackline was born among climbers in the 1980s. Instead of a wire, you walk a flat strap stretched between two anchor points, usually trees, close to the ground. The line is alive: it stretches, sways and bounces, and your whole body does the balancing, without a pole.
Highline is slackline taken up high: between cliffs, mountain peaks, buildings or towers. The walker wears a harness and is attached to the line at all times. That's what we perform.
